Who we are
Located on the Mississippi River in the SE corner of Minnesota,
Pla-Mor Campground and Marina is a family oriented facility offering a wide variety of camping experiences. You will find us on the scenic river Hwy 14/61, 6 miles south of Winona between mile markers 19 & 20. The tree-covered bluffs on either side of the river are reminiscent of the Great Smoky Mountains, hence our nickname, "The Little Smokies of Minnesota".
Pla-Mor Campground and Marina Thanks the Military
We are pleased to announce a 50%
discount to active and retired military servicemen and women
and their families on Sunday through Thursday stays. (Note,
this does not apply to our current or future seasonal
campers).
To take advantage of this program, veterans need to show a
military ID or other form of identification that shows their
service to the military. The discount applies to immediate
family members who are traveling with veterans.
The discount is being offered through October 17, 2010 and cannot be combined with any other discount programs. The discount cannot be used on Memorial Day, 4th of July or Labor Day weekends.
Our facility offers a variety of camping
experiences to suit everyone's taste.
Don't be surprised to see our native wildlife
around the campground. Deer often wander
through the park and bald eagles can be
seen soaring above the river valley.
The main camping area has over 50
sites for RV's and tent campers. All offer a
variety of utilities including water, sewer
and electricity. Mature trees provide
plenty of shade. The office and convenience
store, the suite (situated over the office),
pool, playgrounds and a large shelter
are all close by. Many of the organized
activities take place in this area.
Get Away from it all
Our hiking trail takes you to the top of a high bluff overlooking the river valley. The view is awesome, especially in the fall when the trees are in full color.
If you would like to be close to the Mississippi River, our marina campground offers over 50 river view campsites for RV's and tents, restrooms, a shelter and a playground for the kids. Bring your boat and fishing gear as our ramp gives you access to a large calm bay that opens to the main river channel.
